Our Staff

We each, as Counselors or Staff at FECC, are compassionate, understanding and qualified in our areas of expertise. We continually work to educate ourselves and provide professional services to our clients. Although seeking help can be difficult, we offer you the security of confidential, caring services.

Rebecca (Becky) Frank – MS, NCC, LPC-MH, QMHP

Becky attained her Master’s Degree from SDSU later in life. She has certification through the National Board for Certified Counselors, and Qualified Mental Health Professional Certification. Becky is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Mental Health through the State of South Dakota and also is a Licensed Professional Counselor with the Commonwealth of Virginia. She is a member of the South Dakota Counseling Association and the American Counselors Association. Becky has worked as a Counselor with FECC almost since its beginnings in 2002. Becky works with children from three through teens, individual adults, families and groups. Her education, continued trainings and experience support the love she has for her work.

Michaela Miller, MA, NCC, LPC-Supervisee

Michaela earned her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of South Dakota. Currently she is a National Certified Counselor working towards South Dakota licensure with us at the Family Education and Counseling Center. Prior to joining the Family Education and Counseling Center, she completed her internship at Heartland Psychological Services in Yankton, SD. She has experience with children, adolescents, adults, and groups. She is a member of the American Counseling Association and the South Dakota Counseling Association. Michaela is honored with the opportunity to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space to meet clients where they are on their journey. She works from a Solution Focused Brief Therapy approach combined with Cognitive Behavioral and Person Centered therapies in her work with clients. Michaela is willing to walk alongside you as you navigate through life’s ups and downs.

Annette Haberman, MS, OTR/L

Annette attained her Master of Science degree at the University of South Dakota. She worked eight years with the Educational Service Unit 1 in Wakefield, NE serving eleven school districts as their Occupational Therapist. Most recently she worked in the Yankton School District as their Occupational Therapist, serving children and adolescents from birth to age 21, as well as consulting with their families. Annette has extensive experience with Autism and Sensory Integration. She has been working at our Agency since 2006 and currently teaches Anger Management. Annette is registered nationally with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and is licensed in South Dakota.
